Terms of Service

Using the bot
These are informational terms for the Nexus MC public Discord bot and its connection to the Nexus MC website and Minecraft server tools. Installing or using the bot means you agree to use it responsibly and follow Discord's rules and applicable law.
Permission to install and manage
Only add or configure the bot in a Discord server you own or have clear permission to manage. You are responsible for choosing the bot's Discord permissions, setting server roles correctly, and making sure people who run commands are authorized to do so. The bot checks the permissions configured in Nexus MC, but those checks do not replace your responsibility as a server owner or administrator.
Server commands can have real effects
Depending on the connection and permissions you set up, commands may show server information or ask a connected Minecraft host to perform an operation. A command can fail, take time, or change a running server. Check the target and command before submitting it, keep independent world backups, and do not grant control permissions casually. Nexus MC does not promise that a command will always succeed or that server data can be recovered.
Chat bridge and your content
If you enable the chat bridge, messages from its configured Discord channel may be shown in Minecraft with the sender's display name. Make sure people using that channel know messages can cross between Discord and Minecraft. You keep ownership of messages you send; you allow Nexus MC to process and relay them only as needed to run the configured integration.
Acceptable use
You may not use the bot or website to:
- access or control a Discord or Minecraft server without permission;
- bypass role checks, interfere with another user's server, or attempt to expose private data;
- spam, harass, threaten, distribute malicious content, or break Discord's or another service's rules;
- disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or abuse the bot, website, API, or a connected host.
Nexus MC may limit or suspend access when needed to protect the service, its users, or connected servers.
Third-party services and subscriptions
The bot depends on Discord, the Nexus MC website/API and database, and the connected Minecraft host. Each service may have its own outages, limits, and terms. If you buy a Nexus MC subscription, checkout is handled by Tebex; the package listing and Tebex checkout provide the payment, renewal, and cancellation details for that purchase.
Nexus MC is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft. You are responsible for following the rules and licenses that apply to your Discord server, Minecraft server, and any plugins or other software you install.
Availability and ending use
The bot and connected tools are provided without a guaranteed uptime or service-level commitment. Features may change, be unavailable, or stop working when Discord, the host, or another dependency is unavailable. You can stop using the bot by removing it from your Discord server and disconnecting the server link in Nexus MC where that option is available.
